Studies and Sketches

It's always nice to go back to the knowledge you already have and retry things. That's what I am doing with my latest sketchbook, practicing human anatomy drawings (among other things) but focusing more on light and shadows interaction than in the actual anatomy. Its a way to consciously be aware once again of something I learned a long time ago and apply everyday in my work.
It all started with me reading Framed Ink, Drawing and Composition for Visual Storytellers, written and beautifully illustrated by comic and concept artist Marcos Mateu-Mestre. I strongly recommend it for everyone interested in comics, animation and illustration.
